DODD Billing Rates Remain Unchanged in FY26-27 Ohio Budget

Governor Dewine officially signed the State of Ohio’s FY26-27 budget into law just before the July 1st deadline. While it may not be obvious on its face, this budget is a big win for the DODD community.

For some time, there was some uncertainty about whether or not the increases implemented in 2024 would remain. This is due to the fact that much of that funding came from one-time pandemic era funding that has since expired.

Thankfully, the state’s General Revenue fund was tapped to make sure that providers would maintain the same funding levels moving forward. Specifically, GRF funding for Medicaid services will see a whopping 12% bump in FY2026 and then a modest increase of 1% in FY2027.

Key takeaway: DODD billing rates will remain unchanged for the upcoming biennium.
